Solution accelerators

Five working applications that show what we build and give new projects a head start. Each one covers a complete laboratory workflow and is shown end to end in a narrated screencast.

What an accelerator is, and what it isn’t

Each accelerator is a functional application built with AppMaker, our application development platform. You can watch real screens, real workflows and real rules: results checked against specifications, approvals that can’t be bypassed, audit trails recorded as work happens.

They are not commercial products. They have not been validated for regulated use and they are not sold as they are. When one is close to what a laboratory needs, it becomes the starting point for a project and is adapted to the lab’s data, rules, integrations and quality requirements. That usually means working software to react to much earlier than a project that starts from a blank page.

    LIMS for quality control labs

A LIMS sized for a small laboratory, from batch registration and testing against specifications to release and certificate of analysis.

Core QC laboratory workflows in one focused application: batches and samples, results checked against versioned specifications, out-of-specification investigations, review, release and certificates.

    LIMS for environmental testing labs

From the sampling point to the final report, with field sampling on a phone, chain of custody and every hold time kept.

Field runs planned at the desk and collected on a phone, chain of custody from the sampling point to the lab, hold times that set the order of work, results with qualifiers checked against regulatory limits, client notification of exceedances and frozen final reports.

    LIMS for veterinary diagnostic labs

From a clinic’s submission to a report the veterinarian can act on, with every result judged against the right species.

Accessioning by clinic, veterinarian and patient; bench worklists with species reference intervals and delta checks; an analyzer interface; critical value calls with read-back; pathologist review with histopathology templates; numbered clinic reports and amendments.

    Laboratory Execution System (LES)

Guided laboratory execution, from method definition to approved result.

Methods defined as versioned, step-by-step procedures; analysts guided through each execution with calculations, limits and instrument checks; exceptions, review and a complete audit trail.

    Laboratory Customer Portal

A white-label portal that gives your laboratory’s customers direct access to requests, status and results.

Customers submit testing requests from your catalog, follow their samples through the lab and download released results and certificates. Staff review every request, and accepting one creates the work order in the LIMS.
